A fun-filled, hands-on learning experience
Get Medieval came to our Village School last week. The children had a fantastic day 'getting medieval'. The Knight Club was brilliant, both very fun and interesting. As part of our package we also had fun learning about medieval monsters and had a great experience playing the interactive Anarchy 1138 game in the afternoon. Would certainly use again and recommend. Thank you.

We have years of experience working within the education sector both in schools and heritage which has given us the skills to engage and handle SEND kids. Moreover, we pride ourselves on making sure all students can participate in our activities. In fact, we tend to get surprised reactions from teachers when typically troublesome kids are fully engaged and not disrupting due to their engagement with the activities.

We will try our upmost to rework sessions if you change your mind. Usually we can accommodate changes but some workshops require pre-prepared components so might not be possible. The more notice you give us the better! Please get in touch via info@get-medieval.co.uk if you have such a request.

Yes, all our staff are DBS checked. We understand that schools sometimes wish to do their own DBS check and we are happy to assist in this by providing any information you need. Please understand that due to how DBS checks work we, as an independent small business, cannot independently get the full check your school may require.

Our activities are primarily aimed at KS1 and KS2 but some, such as Anarchy, Knight School and select others, are appropriate for KS1-4. Please get in touch to learn more about our offerings for KS3 and KS4.
Please note that, for safety and insurance reasons, Knight School is limited to children ages 6 and over.

Our activities can be run simultaneously to accomodate an entire year group, or potentially an entire school, so you can run a dedicated medieval day.
How does it work?
We try to keep things simple for you. That’s why we bundled our workshops into distinct themes, visible below. Begin by choosing one of our signature options: Anarchy 1138, or Knight School. We separated these for two reasons. First, we feel they can be relevantly placed into any of our three themes. Secondly, they offer a more unique offering that is less typically seen in schooling, while still providing great benefits. Knight School is a sword fighting workshop where your kids can get hands on with modern equivalents of a medieval knight’s kit to get active and get engaged. Anarchy 1138 is a social game giving your kids a unique chance to roleplay and engage their critical thinking skills to come out on top.
Step 1: Pick your sessions
Our sessions are all visible below. Simply pick one of our signature offerings and then one of our themes and you’ll have a full day of engaging, unforgettable activities for your students! If you want to mix it up and go bespoke that’s fine too! If you want advice on what might work best with your specific class’s needs or curriculum then we’re more than happy to help.
Step 2: Get in touch
Use our booking form, or email info@get-medieval.co.uk, and let us know which sessions you’d like, your email, school information, and which dates you’d prefer. We’ll then get back to you asap to confirm everything.
Step 3: Confirmation
Once that’s all done we’ll email you with a confirmation email detailing what you’ve ordered along with a small deposit to secure your date. It’s as easy as that!
